Introducing: The Crystal Plague!
Today we are thrilled to announce an upcoming feature to Pixel Starships. Introducing: Season Rewards!
Seasons will focus on a distinct theme and event, updating game lore and granting access to unique rewards. Each Season will last 2 months (or 8 weeks).
The first chapter begins in October with the launch of Season 1: The Crystal Plague.
- During The Crystal Plague, players can progress through 50 Tiers to earn new rewards, including a brand new range of consumable items; Double XP, Instant Re-arm, Double Loot & much more!
- Season Points are rewarded upon completing a Daily or Seasonal Task. Daily Tasks appear 3 per day, rewarding 5 Points each.
- Seasonal tasks will unlock on a weekly basis, rewarding 10 Points each. Player’s will have the entire Season to complete these tasks.
By completing Tasks and progressing through the entire Season (1000 points total), players will gain access to limited edition cosmetics that will not be available in the future.
These include Brand New customization options we have never seen before in Pixel Starships, including unique Ship Shields, Engine Trails, and more!
We have worked tirelessly to ensure a fair environment for all players. We hope that the lower price point will help to support the continued development of the game, while the increased attention to Free To Play is set to enhance the experience for all.
